Terms & Conditions
General: During the term of the agreement, we will take all reasonable precautions to avoid injury to persons and damage to property while on the premises, but we shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages. – We shall not be liable for losses or defects arising out of vandalism, fire, flood, wind, war, riots, or any natural disaster. In such cases, the customer shall be charged for the parts and labor involved at the current price for such repairs. No such parts or labor shall be furnished, however, without authorization from the customer. – Membership cannot be transferred to a location outside of our service area. All membership payments are non-refundable. Contract escalation is not planned. However, C and K reserves the right to implement contract escalation of up to 5% each year as needed, or more if otherwise notified.
Monthly Membership: Monthly membership payments must be collected in the form of credit card and processed through our third-party secure payment system. Payments due must be processed and cleared for a membership to be considered active. It is the client’s responsibility to keep their credit card information up to date with C and K. C and K will make every effort to notify you of expiring credit cards. Monthly membership payments will be processed on the 5th of every month. If the 5th is not a business day the payment will be processed on the next business day. Monthly membership is perpetually renewing. Monthly membership may be canceled by either party. The client must provide written notice at least 30 days in advance of the next payment date to cancel. If a monthly membership is canceled before 6 months of membership the client will be billed to all membership benefits used/delivered by C and K Inc. in that time frame. When a member moves, they may choose to provide notice of cancelation or take the membership with them to a new location within our service area.
Annual Membership: Annual membership payments must be collected in the form of cash, check or credit card for a membership to be considered active. When a member moves, they may choose to transfer membership to the new home owner or take the membership with them to a new location within our service area.
Member Benefits:
Member benefits are not redeemable for cash value or store credit
Same Day Priority Emergency Service: Emergency situations will receive priority, but the availability of same-day service is dependent on technician availability and operational constraints. For priority emergency or after-hours emergency service, the following three conditions constitute an emergency; Risk of damage to property; Risk of health or safety. Risk of detriment to a client’s business.
Standard 1” filters are non-pleated one inch disponible filters which we recommend you replace every 30 days. A standard pleated 1" filter is provided for each maintenance visit. Additional charges may apply for specialized or upgraded filters. Clients with filter styles other than those offered by their maintenance plan may use their service accessory discount to purchase filters.
Basic Maintenance, Performance Tune-up, Advanced Care, and Proactive Part Replacement service information is based of standard residential-split (gas furnace and A/C) system. Other systems and equipment are applicable but will have different servicing procedures. Please note that extensive repairs or replacement of major components are not included.
Maintenance scheduling reminders may be made by email, text, phone call or other communication methods. The client is responsible for keeping contact information up to date with C and K. We will make reasonable efforts to send reminders for scheduled maintenance visits. However, it remains the responsibility of the members to keep track of and schedule the visits in a timely manner.
Annual thermostat battery replacement is a membership bonus that is not redeemable for cash value if batteries are not needed. The program covers the replacement of thermostat batteries once per year. Any additional battery replacements required throughout the year are not included.
Standard non-member repair warranty is one year. Extended member warranties apply to repairs made within a membership period and will automatically revert to standard warranty if membership lapses. The duration of warranties varies based on the tier of membership. Repair parts not supplied by C and K carry no warranty.
Discounted Regular Service Call with Repair: Members receive a discount on regular service call charges when a repair is required. This discount is applicable only to service calls associated with repairs covered under the program.
Discounted Overtime Service Call: Overtime service calls outside regular business hours will be subject to a discounted rate for program members depending upon your chosen membership tier.
Discounted Service Accessory & Repairs: Members receive a discount on service accessories and repairs based on their chosen tier of membership. The membership discount cannot be combined with other offers.
Loyalty Rewards: Loyalty rewards can only be credited toward the replacement of the heating and cooling systems covered by the planned maintenance agreement. For partial system replacements partial rewards may be used. Like other member benefits, Loyalty Rewards are not redeemable for cash value or store credit. Non-renewal, cancelation, or inactive membership forfeits all member benefits and accumulated loyalty rewards.
5-Point Advanced Care Service: The approximate price provided for common repairs covers specific services such as burner cleaning, blower cleaning, evap coil cleaning, and water heater inspection. The final price may vary based on the specific requirements and condition of the equipment.
3-Point Proactive Part Replacement: The program covers the proactive replacement of select parts, including contactors, capacitors, and ignitors, as needed. Replacement of other parts not mentioned is not included.
Over $1900 Value: The total value mentioned is an approximation based on the combined cost of individual services, discounts, and rewards offered under the program. The actual value may vary based on individual usage and requirements.
Membership Expiry: Please be aware that membership benefits and services are valid only for the duration of an active membership. If a member chooses not to renew their membership, all benefits associated with the program will be forfeited.
Non-Refundable and Non-Prorated: Membership fees are non-refundable and cannot be prorated, even if any services have been rendered or benefits have been received during the membership period.
Program Changes: C&K Heating Cooling & Plumbing reserves the right to modify or terminate any of the benefits or terms mentioned above. For detailed information, please refer to the membership agreement or contact our customer service.
